AGENCY OVERVIEW:

Housing and Homeless services of Washington County provides assistance programs that strive to ensure individuals and families that are at risk of becoming homeless receive the prevention and intervention services to address their various housing needs and the need of other supportive services.

This component of Human Services obtains funding through grants, but also plans, develops, directs, coordinates, monitors, and facilitates all aspects of the multiple projects comprising Washington County's Continuum of Care.

Coordinated Entry is the entry point for our housing and homeless assistance programs. To receive assistance please call our General Assessment Center at 724-229-4306 or the Domestic Violence Assessment Center at 724-223-9190.

Emergency Shelter Services provide short term immediate housing needs with support services.

Permanent Supportive Housing for long term housing solutions provides support for persons with disabilities.

Homeless Prevention services include short and medium rental assistance for individuals and families at risk of homelessness.

Supportive Services include information and referral as well as care management.
